AGATA FINALIST OF THE JAZZ A VIENNE REZZO FOCAL COMPETITION 2017
AGATA has been selected for the 13th edition of the french national jazz competition "REZZO FOCAL- Jazz à Vienne". Quartet will hit the stage for a 45 minutes show on Thursday, June 29th.
Since its creation in 2003, this very high level competition allowed the public to discover a lot of great musicians and bands such as Amaury Faye Trio, Uptake, nOx.3 and Celine Bonacina.

"The aim is to support and highlight the new generation. RéZZo FOCAL Jazz à Vienne was born further to Jazz à Vienne's will to bring new jazz talents to the forefront. The winner of RéZZo FOCAL Jazz à Vienne can record an album on a famous label (Jazz Village - Harmonia Mundi), receive support for its distribution, in addition to one year’s artistic and promotional accompaniment. National jazz actors, our partners (clubs, festivals, associations...) help to unearth the new regional jazz scene. FOCAL, a manufacturer of upmarket loud and acoustic speakers, offers the winner a studio recording. Max Pinto 4tet, Jérémy Ternoy trio, Paradox, Oxyd, Céline Bonacina trio, Sidony Box, Trio Enchant(i)er, Impérial Quartet WaterBabies and Uptake have been winners since 2004. For festival goers, it is also the opportunity to discover and preview the artists who will influence tomorrow's jazz!"
